I am an agriculture value chain designer and architect of multiple sustainability programs. Former country head for AVSF in Mongolia.

I got to know Mongolia by cycling from Bangkok and then through the country, living there for many years.

Environmental Science
Chultem Batbold
I was born in the Gobi desert and spent my childhood rearing livestock with my family. This is when I learnt traditional Mongolian knowledge about plants and animals and developed strong connections with nature.
I obtained my PhD in Japan, specializing in atmospheric science, and now work as a researcher and lecturer at the National University of Mongolia. I've been collaborating with Good Growth since 2023.​

Azjargal Jargalsaikhan
Azjargal focuses on rangeland ecology, community-based natural resource management, and the development of responsible livestock supply chains.
Her experience includes international standards and industry initiatives linking stewardship with transparent and credible supply systems.

Her Masters focused on true spider biodiversity, including examining how grazing intensity influences spider communities.

Onon Bayasgalan
Onon is the strategic force behind URECA, the smart Mongolian environmental technology business. She has deep experience working with herders, donors, investors, and government agencies in Mongolia within the realm of sustainable cashmere.

Onon holds a masters from Cambridge in Conservation Leadership and a masters from Yale in Environmental Management.

Tuvshintungalag Boldbaatar
Rangeland ecologist. Tungaa spent 6 years working with herders on an agriculture extension project with Green Gold, and with herder cooperatives on the Sustainable Cashmere project implemented by WCS Mongolia.
Tuvshintungalag leads the participatory needs and opportunity assessment to understand the herders’ perspectives on the causes of rangeland degradation and to co-design solutions with them.

Jamie Batho
Strategic projects lead at the Landbanking Group. Jamie works closely with Good Growth to develop financing and investment models that work for nature, recognising the wealth in nature.
